Pet Sounds

Babeng was sick yesterday.

We woke up to her huddling in her crate, not jumping up when we said good morning. When she didn’t immediately gobble down her kibble when we gave her the OK, we knew something was very very wrong. Unfortunately both MC and I were committed to finalising some urgent things at work so like it or not, Babeng had to wait till lunchtime to go to the vet.

MC went home to check on her during his lunch break and found her in the same lethargic state. She vomitted twice soon after and perked up a bit but didn’t even look up when Atti jumped up on the sofa where she was.

We were worried sick but even we had to laugh ’cause as soon as we got her to the vet, she was busy making friends with everyone there. No sign of a sick puggie in sight! She even gave us a huge grin when the thermometer was stuck in her butt . Doc says she prolly had a tummy upset from all the junk she gobbles down when we’re not looking so now Babeng is on some gila babi expensive wet food for two days. Funny thing is she’s not used to eating wet food so her pops has to hand feed her bit by bit.

Phew, we survived our first emergency vet trip
